Activity 2: Creating Cumulative Frequency Tables with Excel

In this section, you will learn to use simple Excel functions such as SUM to create your own cumulative frequency tables.

To start off this activity, please download the activity 2 excel spreadsheet below and save it onto your D drive.


For your practice problems, you may want to refer to the video lesson in the previous activity on calculating the cumulative frequency.

Activity 3: Creating Cumulative Frequency Diagrams with Excel

For this part of the lesson, you will learn to create cumulative frequency diagrams using scatterplots in Excel.

Before that, view the following video lesson to get an idea of how a cumulative frequency diagram is obtained from the cumulative frequency table.



Then download the activity 3 excel spreadsheet from the file box found in the previous activity and save it into the D drive.
